Attorney L. Ray Maples II

Attorney L. Ray Maples II was born and raised in Georgia. He graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelors Degree in marketing in 1993. Mr. Maples then moved west to study at the Oklahoma City University College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate in 1999.

After graduating, Ray Maples moved back to Georgia where he began working for a large Atlanta personal injury firm. For several years, he litigated on behalf of insurance companies and large corporations. He was appalled by the callous way in which corporate giants routinely, in his words, puts "profits over people." In 2002, Ray changed the course of his career by dedicating his entire future practice to defending the rights of those injured in motor vehicle accidents.

Ray Maples is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma Trial Lawyers Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association. He has been admitted to practice in all Oklahoma courts and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Maples is also a lifetime member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Membership in these organizations are limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts.

Mr. Maples is rated "Superb" by Avvo, the nationwide attorney ratings organization. He also possesses an "AV" rating (which is the highest rating possible) from Martindale-Hubbell, a 150-year old legal information directory. Both of these paramount ratings are based on an attorney's experience, reputation in the legal industry, and professional conduct. Mr. Maples is also listed as being among the Top 100 Trial Attorney in Oklahoma by The National Trial Lawyers association. In 2015, Mr. Maples became a member and officer of the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court. With this distinction, Mr. Maples is authorized to practice law at the highest court in the nation.

Ray Maples lives in Oklahoma with his wife and two wonderful children.
