The crash happened on September 26th of last year when a semi truck traveling down Interstate 35 in Murray County crossed a grassy median and slammed into a bus carrying a women’s softball team from North Central Texas College. The team was heading home after playing a game against Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma. Four young women were killed, ranging in age from 18 to 20. The driver, who worked for Quickway Transportation Inc., told authorities he had been distracted by something in his cab.
